Large, Beautiful painting of Picard, Data, Deanna Troi, and the Enterprise used for the cover of the Star Trek: TNG book,The Last Stand. ThisKeith Birdsong painting has it all: Three main crew members, hundreds of iridescent stars, and an amazing rendering of the Enterprise. The perfectly-centered visages of some of the most popular Star Trek characters over a backdrop of an Enterprise heading toward the viewer makes this large (16"x28") painting an excellent display piece (although it has not been displayed in the 25 years since it was painted). Art is in excellent condition with no fading or scratches.
Keith Birdsong was the prolific artist of the 1990s who painted most of the collector plates, book covers, game boxes, and other licensed products for Star Trek. He also did illustrations for Star Wars, Shadowrun, and the US Postal Service. Many of his works are displayed in the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC.
