Up for sale is this excellent Triceratops Egg Fossil from Washington State. It was a gift from one of the Elders of the Quinault Indian Nation to the person I got this from. This is the real deal.
Triceratops lived during theCretaceousperiod, about 68 to 66million years agoin what is now western North America. It was one of the last-known non-avian dinosaurs and lived until theCretaceous–Paleogene extinction event66million years ago.It weighs 2 lbs and measures 4 x 3 inches. You can see a lot of detail on this where the shell itself has broken and cracked to expose the inner part of the egg itself.
The color of this egg fossil shell is deep dark brown/ black. What you see is exactly what you get. No enhancement of color has been done. This is its natural color. This has not been repaired in any way....all natural.
I consider this Museum Grade and Quality. (Grading is Subjective though). If you're looking for a unique item that no one else has, this is it.
