7 1/2"H x 9 1/4"W. Large original antique cyanotype of a street view in Lower Manhattan, 1909, photographed by/for the Public Service Commission for the First District, Engineer, First Division, as indicated by stamp on verso. Additionally, handwritten on the verso is text that reads: "View West on Duane From Park Street." Pictured are buildings featuring antique signage from businesses including the New York Journal, Stettiner Bros. Printers, "Bull" Durham Smoking Tobacco, The J.W. Pratt Co., H.S. Leclerq & Co., and more! In the lower left of the photograph is text that reads: "(1237) con. 9-0-1. Park St. 7.22.1909." Edges of the photo are creased, discolored, and have at least 2 small tears. 1 imperfection towards the top is possibly from the print process, however is possibly a blemish due to age and use.
