1967 (M7) USA made TE-11 12 Hour Dial Military Cockpit Panel Clock.


This is Numbers Matching case back (M7), and pillar plate (M7 214).


Correct 12 hour dial and hand set (with the correct factory painted Railroad Hour and Minute hands and "Fils" style Sweep Second Hand that was used on these models of this clock).


1 1/4" x 1 1/4" x 1/2" deep (plus contact points).


I installed this in table top "menu holder" with a friction fit so that it can be removed easily.


It is also easy to change the time and battery.


I also added a portion of an Accutron patent drawing.


It is mounted with "photo mount glue" for easy removal if you prefer to install a different add.


The display is approx. 6 1/2" w x 5" Important Timepiece in History.

The Caliber 214 TuningFork cleaned inside and out.


Original mineral glass crystal.


Disassembled the case and bezel to deep is adjusted the conventional way that Accutrons are set... from the back set crown.


The original deep/multi level Pillar Plate that is typical in these TE Clocks was not available... so I built a case back date code matching standard caliber 214 movement and installed a plastic movement retainer inside the case to retain it. I also "made" a longer stem to reach the adjustment wheel. So time setting is as normal.

Regarding battery changes... because the movement sits deeper into the case... the battery hatch spring is not needed (it won't reach the battery). I reversed the case back spring to hold down the battery. So battery changes aren't out of the norm... except the battery sits deeper into the case and you will move the spring out of the way (through the battery hatch) to remove the battery... and move it back to seat the battery and "close the electric circuit" to start the watch running (without having to remove the case back).

Fully disassembled the movement for cleaned and oiled all of the friction points and regulated the timing torun properly on the modern readily available and inexpensive 1.55v 387S battery (or 394 if you already have the plastic battery insulator).

Friction points and setting crown greased/oiled!

New "Clark" 735 & 736 Battery Hatch and Case Back Gaskets installed.

Fully disassembled and cleaned the case including the battery cover and back set crown.

This is the original and correct case back, bezel, hands, and finishes.


This has been adjusted to run "Dead on balls accurate," as Marisa Tomei (My Cousin Vinny) would say... within the original Bulova Spec's for the time of issue.


No need for any "tricks" oradd onsthat might upset the Coil Assembly.

"Why fix it if it ain't broken?"

No need for changes tothe Electronics.

No need to alter and stress the electronics on this beauty... thereby devaluing it!

Why "coat" the Coils... adding stress and trapping the windings andlimiting movement?

70% of the Coil issues are on the Battery side (due to owners using incorrect batteries back in the day)... NOT the Component side!

Stop wasting time over-offerding Frankensteined FAKES, from the U.K., when you can have the genuine article.

Why buy an over "engineered" parts bin mess from a part-time "hobbyist" who throws togethera multitude of parts?

What value does that havenow... much less in the future?! It'll be nothing more than what it is... an alteredmess and a future candidate as a parts bin part out. That's what they were assembled from now... and that's how they will be "utilized" in the future!

I use the Mobiusproducts that were specified by Bulova and I install new gaskets.

I workonthese the Old Schoolway.

I am not aPart TimeHobbyistdoing this after my day job... and I see no reason to alter these... it only decreases their value.

The goal is to get these right... so that we can enjoy and preserve these Historic works of Horology/Engineering/Art.

I send these out double boxed to protect them, with a multi page Instruction Set, an extra battery, insured, with Signature Confirmation Service... and I hand deliver them to USPS for receipt in hand so that we are BOTH covered!

I do these RIGHT because I LOVE them.

If you want cheap, badly thrown together FAKE CRAP at a "low" price point... I'm NOT "your guy!"

There are plenty of people out there destroying classic Accutrons (look for the Chop Shops in CA, the UK, PA, FL, OR, VA, GA, Bulgaria, etc. spitting out parts bin Frankensteins by the dozens to unsuspecting noobs).

Would you accept this behavior for cigars, cars, watches, etc.?!
