Offered today is an Art Deco 1935 Platinum Order of the Amaranth Past Grand Royal Matron Diamond Brooch Pin. A VERY RARE, MINT CONDITION FIND! The diamonds are old mine cut diamonds. There are four 3mm .50 ct.; three 2.5mm .15 ct.; four 2.2mm .16 ct. ; and eleven 2mm in crown .33 ct. Total diamond approximate weight of 1.14 ctw, exhibiting VS1-VS2 in clarity and E-F-G in color as graded by our gemologist. There is a diamond in the safety chain gavel attached. The back is engraved CL Engel and RM 1938 O of A. The brooch measures 1 1/4" in height from top of sword to point of sword and 1" wide at its widest point. The safety pin measures 1/2" in length by 1/4" wide at its widest point where the diamond is. It has been thoroughly tested as platinum. It weighs 9.7 grams. A Truly Rare Find! Any darkness in pin is from camera reflection. This stunning brooch is offered here in mint antique condition.
