MEGILLAH BIBLE PARCHMENT SCROLL ILLUSTRATED MANUSCRIPT Jewish Judaica Art Purim

You have before you a unique, one of a kind KOSHER TO USE Megilat Esther, ie scroll of the Biblical story of Esther which is read on Purim, a time of miracles and joy. The Scroll is written onthe finest kosher parchment and writtenwith a beautiful Beth Yosef script. The Megilla has been checked for accuracy by a certified scribe. The handwriting of the professional Jewish scribe who created this Megilla is one of the best I know!

Height 45 cm = 18 inches.

Length 3 meters 70 cm = 11ft 4 inches.

The Megillah is illustrated in pastel water colors byan Israeliartist (whose name will be given to the owner). The illustrations were well thought out before being produced, using the Midrashic Rabbinical sources who were privy to "inside information" of the miraculousevents which occurredabout 2500 years ago!

It begins with illustrations of the vessels of theHoly Templetaken by the evil Nebuchadnezzer King of Babylon (Saddam Hussein's spiritual ancestor) at the time ofdestruction of the first Temple.

These vessels were the very same vessels used at the feast of Ahashveirosh (Xartaxerxes).

Thevariousillustrated framesare illustrated according to the story in the megillah.

The upper section of the megillah is also decoratively illustrated. The scans do not do justice to this one of a kind megilla! It would make a wonderful present to any newly married couple, generous benefactor ofan institution, or even to pass down as a precious family heirloom!
