In the late 90’s this outstanding example of the original design Disneyland Map was purchased from Disney sales. Certified Authentic with accompanying documentation this Lithograph was #1 of 25 created in 1953 from the original map used by Walt Disneys brother Roy in New York city to obtain funding. There are 25 publisher proofs which this number one so it is second to the original. The original was later colored and sold at sale for approximately $708,000.00. This Lithograph has the original raised Disney seal, Numbered PP 1/25. Disney sales said that this lithograph was behind the Front Desk at the Original Disneyland Hotel for years before being moved to archives and eventually to there sale House. There is one small crack in the glass otherwise perfect. The certificate of authenticity has some water damage but still fully legible. The lithograph itself is in perfect condition for its age.
