RARE Vtg Set COPELAND SPODE CHURCHILL & ROOSEVELT FDR Toby Jugs Jug ERIC OLSEN:

This ultra rare vintage pair of Copeland Spode toby jugs dates to 1941 and features Winston Churchill and Franklin D. Roosevelt (FDR) in seated positions and are fully colored. They each measure approximately 8.75" tall. In addition to being stamped and signed with a decorator's mark on the bottom, they are each also impressed on the back of the base with "Eric Olsen N.R.D." as they were modelled by Eric Olsen, National Register Designer in 1941 for Copeland Spode. They are in very good condition with the exception of crazing on both and a small nick to the bottom edge of the FDR one. There are no other cracks or chips.
