Description:Stunning portrait & pastoral scene enamel table box silver hallmarked fittings.

It comprises of a beautiful detailed portrait of a lady of Eighteenth century dress to the top.

There is an additional scene of a castle near a lake to the underside of the cover.

There are additional scenes painted to the internal of the box and the external base.

There are also pastoral scenes of ladies gentlemen & a cherub to the perimeter sides of this stunning piece. It is joined by silver fittings to each part which when put together and turned make avery tight closure suitable use for a snuff box

Measurements: 9 cms or 3.5 inches in diameter by 1.4 inches or 3.5 cms high

Weight: 222 gram

Hallmarks: there are silver marks to each of the silver fittings a letter A & the initials HB , together with another letter A to the other piece

Condition: nice condition to the top internal and the perimeter , there are few minor chips to the base which can only be expected of an item of this age
