A beautiful French antique solid silver snuff or pill box. It is hallmarked with two tiny touch boars head marks (minimum 800 standard) and a makers mark H and Cie. It dates to c1900. It has been beautifully designed having its lid decorated with cherubs playing. The inside is vibrantly gilded. Itis in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs and closes tight. It measures 2 inches (5cms) across by 1.5 inches (3.7cms) by over 0.5 inches tall and weighs 33 grams. A beautifully made very high quality piece.
